^{Lynn Hong is a Korean American film editor raised in Korea, and based in LA. They’ve most recently edited short films LONG’S LONG LOST & MINI MART (2025 Tribeca Film Festival) and MAKE ME A PIZZA (2024 SXSW Film & TV Festival). In 2024, Lynn was nominated for “Best Editing” at the 2024 Hollyshorts Festival, earning one of 3 editing nominations out of the 400 eligible shorts.

As an MPEG assistant editor, they have contributed to projects such as Beef (A24/Netflix), Nemesis (Netflix), and an upcoming Amazon Prime series due for release in 2027.

Lynn’s short films have screened at festivals such as SXSW, Tribeca, Palm Springs ShortFest, Fantasia, Beyond Fest, Sitges, and Proof Film Festival. Their work has been featured on platforms such as Mubi, Hulu, Vimeo Staff Picks, Short of the Week, and Directors Notes.

Alongside their narrative work, Lynn edits branded stories, trailers, and promos. Their work has aired on Disney+, FX, and the Academy Awards, and includes branded stories for Netflix, Nike, ATTN:, and YouTubeTV.

Throughout their career, Lynn has had a strong connection to the music world, having edited of Montreal’s music video for “Paranoiac Intervals/Body Dysmorphia.” In their past life as a 1st AD, they have contributed to music videos for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House, Caroline Polachek, King Princess, and tour managed Dorian Electra’s first headlining tour with 20+ stops.
